In the early 1700's, Captain Brian Bones, originally named Brian Harvey, grew up in a small coastal fishing village in England. His family known for their seafaring heritage, installed in him a love for the ocean. His father a respected sailor, taught him navigation, while is mother cared for their home.
Briand joined the Royal Navy, but his life took a drastic turn when a corrupt English Naval Captain stole his family's land and murdered his parents.
Disillusioned and seeking justice, he turned to piracy, becoming Captain of the infamous shop the Black Marrow. He gathered a loyal crew, his prates of the Four Winds, thus named for there was nowhere to hide from his justice. During a fierce sea battle, ho took a cannon ball to the chest but miraculously survived, with his bones mending overtimes. This earned him the nickname "Bones" and a fearsome reputation.
Known for his cunning tactics and a heart that still beat for justice, Captain Brian Bones and the Pirate of the Four Winds became legend, feared by their enemies and loved by the oppressed.....the Robin Hoods of the Sea.
Promontory Rider
Booker of of goods and good will.
Promontory was a descendant of Moses Cohen Henri-ques ( A Jewish pirate who, along with a Dutch admiral, captured a Spanish treasure fleet) whose blood line can be traced from Samuel Palache ( A Jewish pirate who became a vice admiral in the Ottoman navy, serving under Barbarossa) who was a rabbi and pirate who terrorized Spanish shipping in the Mediterranean.
As Piracy flourished in the Americas during the 17th century, with many privateers (pirates) originating from or operating around New England there is a wonderful need for a broker of these goods and to restore men from their former to a more upstanding place in society. Promontory help broker deals between these men and their goods for citizenship and pardons throughout New England.
You can often find him traveling and playing music with the Pirates of the Four Winds.
When visiting Port Royal, Jamaica you never know what you will see. It was know at the time as the "Wicked city on Earth" and Captain Bones loved to make a stop there! Full of pirates, prostitutes, slavers and slaves, liquor and brothels was Port Royal! On one trip to the City, Captain Bones entered a Public House of more reputable character reserved for Captains and Admirals of the British Navy and met a stage performer. She wore clothes never seen before in Port Royal and whispers in the pub were that she had just gotten off of a ship that came from the middle east. Captain Bones admired her non-conformance and visited the pub every day to hear her perform. When it was time for the Pirates of the Four Winds to leave Port Royal, Captain asked the performer to join his merry group and sail the oceans under the pirate flag. Jams accepted and from then on was known as a Pirate of the Four Winds.
Pic Mowry was born in the cluttered galley of a smuggler’s schooner during a storm so loud, it drowned out her first cry. Raised by the crew, she learned to tie knots before she could write, and to read tides before she read books. But it wasn’t until she found an old banjo wedged into a crate of stolen goods that her legend began to form.
By day, she sparred with cutlasses on the deck, light on her feet and quicker with a grin than a jab. By night, she’d sit on the bowsprit and strum songs into the sea breeze—ballads of revenge, freedom, and ghost ships made of moonlight. Her banjo wasn’t just for songs—it had a hidden blade, a hidden flask, and more than once, a hidden map tucked behind the head.
When she was seventeen, Pic stole a brig right out of a governor’s port, armed with nothing but three loyal misfits (one of them Being Captain Bones), a jug of spiced rum, and a banjo tune that convinced the guards to dance themselves into exhaustion. From that moment on, she was a pirate captain in all but title, raiding with flair, laughing through cannon fire, and leaving behind only music and broken egos.
Now known across the Windward Chains and beyond, Pic is a swashbuckler with a heart full of trouble and a song for every scrape. She drinks like a poet, fights like a storm, and plays her banjo like it’s woven from lightning and secrets. No one knows what she’s chasing—some say it’s revenge, others say it’s love—but all agree: wherever Pic Mowry goes, the tide turns strange.
The Black Marrow and Captain Bones were on a voyage around Oak Island looking for the lost treasure and spotted some wreckage. Low and behold there was a person clinging to the wreckage. A ship has hit the Gooseberry Shoal off Little Gooseberry Island and sank in a storm with only one survivor.
She didn't remember her name or any of the events leading up to the ship wreck so Captain Bones called her Nova since she was near Nova Scotia when found!
Overtime Nova discovered that she was proficient in navigation and could read charts. Captain Bones made her ships navigator and from then on she helped the Captain travel throughout the globe.
As one of the only female crew, she learned to be tough as nails and stand up for what and who was right!
Born to an English seaman and a French "Lady of the Night", Robere was thrown onto this fathers ship by his mother as there were leaving port. Robert's father kept him on the boat and he was taught from a very early age how to live a life at sea.
After he grew up he worked on many vessels as a brave and competent seaman finally being Shangaied by Nova, and to this day kept as her cabin boy as one of the infamous "Pirates' of the Four Winds".
With Captain Bones, they travelled around the world on the Black Marrow, robbing and pillaging throughout the seas.
As the name implies, Iron Strings is a master of ropes whether they be on a mast, on the deck or on an instrument. He has hand of steal and can stop a running rig better than any man. His past is unknown so the Captain keeps a close eye on him to make sure he is not plotting mutiny but so far....he has just been a hard worker ready for anything!

A story to be told
In the sweltering heat of 1700s Key West, a street kid named Rascal McKraken learned the art of survival in a world of swaying palm trees, salty air, and the constant hum of ship’s sails. With the island's bustling docks as his playground, Rascal became a fixture among the rough crowd of pirates, sailors, and traders. He hustled rum from the local distilleries and smuggled Cuban cigars, prized by the sea-faring men for their rich taste and sharp burn. Navigating through a maze of shady deals and whispered conversations, he’d dart through the alleys, his pockets heavy with gold Doubloons—more than a boy his age should ever handle. He was small but quick, slipping past the watchful eyes of the law, his hands always ready to barter or strike a deal with the hardened men who frequented the island. Key West was a chaotic world where only the clever and fearless survived, and Rascal, with his sharp wit and even sharper street sense, thrived in the shadows of a pirate’s paradise.
